The commemoration of the 30th anniversary of Aco Sopov‘s death took place on 3 May 2012, at the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts (Skopje). On this occasion, his two last books published abroad that same year were presented to the Macedonian public: Sol Negro (Buenos Aires, Leviatán, Spanish) et Soleil Noir/Schwarze Sonne (Luxembourg, Editions PHI, bilingual French-German).
The public was welcomed by the President of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Vlado Kambovski.
Participants were Roland Kayser, Director of PHI, Kata Ćulavkova, Luan Starova, membres of the Academy, Risto Lazarov, Director of TV Telma, Sofija Gogova, actrice, and a few students from Skopje’s Faculty of Philology who read poems by Aco Šopov in French, German and Spanish.
