\nleft over, you might think, from an age long gone.
\nUp here in the sultry mists it is invisible.
\nLike a scar it lies cursed on top of the wound.\nDown below there is a heavy blood. A single blood.
\nA blood that is black as pitch and as thick.
\nAn insatiable blood with a primal thirst.
\nThere is an old blood below, naked and black.\nIt lies below and burrows like a mole.
\nThreshold to threshold, it burrows through the mind.
\nUnerring as death and as inescapable,
