\n\t\t\tOn the edge of the Morvan, just a stone’s throw from the UNESCO World Heritage town of V\u00e9zelay, a three-century-old mill opens its gates on July 12 and 13, 2025, inviting the public to two days steeped in culture.\t<\/h2>\n

Once known as Moulin Morizot, then Moulin Berson and Moulin Cougnot, and then again Moulin Morizot… it is now reborn as “Moulin lyrique” (Lyrc Mill)-an emerging international hub for poetry, music, and visual arts in Metz-le-Comte, Burgundy.<\/p>\n

Poetry performances, concerts, exhibitions and a fashion show shape the vibrant program of this first edition of the Lyric Mill’s Open Portal.<\/p>\n

Fifteen artists, actors, writers, and musicians gather from near and far to celebrate poetry and art in all their forms over two unforgettable days. Their biographies are available in French.<\/a><\/p>\n

Rooted in the dialogue between contemporary creation and cultural heritage, and set within the broader horizon of French culture and the cultures of the world, the Lyric Mill 2025 pays tribute to Adam Billaut (1602-1662) the “carpenter-poet of Nevers”, to the Portugal’s national poet Lu\u00eds de Cam\u00f5es (1525-1580), and his French translator Fran\u00e7ois Ragon (1795-1872), born in Avallon; and to\u00a0Aco \u0160opov (1923 – 1982), “the soul of the Lyric Mill<\/a>“.<\/p>\n
